This pan will allow you to maintain the same volume of oil that is currently run, although it will also allow you to keep that same volume of oil much further away from the crankshaft for increased horse power. By keeping the oil level away from the crankshaft you are reducing the risk of the oil getting airated. Horse power and mechanical reliability is exactly what you will get! This pan shown here measures 9.25 deep in the sump area. Recommend pick up part number 2143.

Description: Cromolly oil pump drives greatly reduce the chance of breakage and oil pressure loss. This small needed item when overlooked can cost your your engine. A small price to pay for added insurance.

Description: This oil pump pick up was engineered exclusively for Olds Performance Products. This pick up has a larger inlet surface area than any other pick offered on the market. We have also incorporated a larger i.d. tube that will allow for increased volume to the pump. Recommended for 7 or 7-1/4 inch factory sump pans.
